Record the basic facts
- Lead identifier and delivery date
- Consumer name and contact method used
- Project address or territory evidence
- Requested service and why it is or is not covered
- Contact attempts with dates, times, and outcomes
- The exact qualification standard believed to have failed
Separate validity from sales outcome
An unreachable phone number may support a credit when the contact information cannot reasonably support follow-up. A consumer who simply stops responding after a valid conversation is different.
A wrong-service inquiry may support a credit. A valid project that does not meet the contractor's unreported minimum job size may reveal a fit problem rather than a qualification failure.
Report promptly
Demand Leads Media asks providers to report disputes within 72 hours. Prompt notice makes call, form, routing, and contact evidence easier to review while it is current.
State the failed check directly and include supporting notes. Avoid adding unrelated personal information or using consumer data beyond the disclosed project.
Understand the accounting result
An approved invalid lead is removed from accepted-lead and overage accounting. It does not consume the paid month's allowance and cannot create an overage.
The credit does not reduce the $300 monthly territory base. Duplicate charges and documented billing errors are refunded under the written policy.
